"Construction once slated to begin this year on the state's proposed Palm Beach County Shooting Park, west of Palm Beach Gardens, is instead getting pushed into 2016, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
Delays transferring ownership of the land to the state as well as backlogged engineering efforts prolonged the timetable for construction. The first phases of rifle and pistol shooting ranges could become available to the public in 2016." |

The last update via their emails from 3 days ago was this:
"Monthly update on the new Palm Beach County Shooting Range: Zoning and Conditional Use application is under review by the County. The construction for this project will go out for bid late fall 2015." They're really taking their sweet time with it, typical government workers. |
