Lightning was coming down pretty heavy around game time and periodically the rest of the night.

I live here in Gainesville and that storm was pretty amazing. The lightning was intense most of the night. No game is worth risking lives.

I was there the whole time, it was pretty nasty. The field was more or less unplayable, but the lightning was the real reason for the delays and eventual "termination". This pic tells the story (I didn't take it):  |

I felt really bad for my daughter and her BF... money for them is very tight, and as such, they don't get to do much... I'm helping them with some of their smaller bills until she goes back to work (she had our first grand child). They FINALLY were able to get out for the night... some decompression time, only to get hammered by the storms... however, she took it in stride and believes everything happens for a reason.
