I'm also interested to hear first hand experiences about this range.

Some information is on their website: Long Shot Range

ETA: Looks like it is a membership based range.  On the F.A.Q. page it states you need to be a member to use the range.  Individual memberships are $295+ tax for the year, plus daily range fee of $5 on all ranges except this membership does not allow for the use of the 500 yard range.  For that, you'd have to pay $395+ tax for the yearly membership, plus $10 per hour each time you use the 500 yard range.  The $5 per day range fee is still applicable for the 25, 50 and 100 yard ranges.

That seems pretty damn steep to me.  I won't be going as I don't go to the range often enough to make it worth the high cost.  And I was excited to hear this was opening, thinking it would be possible to go every now and then.

yep.

I went to a training class there and enjoyed it, the place looks nice. sadly I think the only time I will shoot there is during training and not at the 500 yd range.
