I'm not sure if I'm the only one or not, but for some reason I think the LEO magazines for HKs are awesome.
I'm not sure if it's because they look neat, or if it is because they are a symbol of gun laws going in the RIGHT direction for once. The fact that we can buy and own something that we could NOT buy and own before is great. I can think of a couple other bans that I wish would sunset. ;) Anyways, let me know what you think, and here's an excuse for me to share some pictures of my all German HK53, mp5k-n, and mp5-n. I have an all German HK51 and mp5SD coming in from Michael's Machines I'll have to post picture of with these magazines hopefully in the near future :) Thanks for reading...

Very nice collection. Some people (like most on HK Pro) think that the "Restricted" mags are better or more valuable. Basically they are the same and just had the engraving for the US market. They really shouldn't logically have a premium over new HK mags. I get the pre-bans being worth more for people in the Soviet satellites like Massachusetts, or New Jersey, etc. since that is a way they can get regular things; but LE marked is just a reminder of the bad policy and "feel good" politics of the Clintons. Hopefully, this and a blue dress will be the only reminder of the Clintons that stands the tests of time.
What's the story on the STG44? Amnesty registration for GCA 68, right? |

On a similar note know of any places that might have some LEO mags in stock for MP5?

Yeah ive always thought the leo mags were cool looking. They're worth more just because they're harder to find so people will pay more for them. I never bought a G3 leo mag cause they're so freaking expensive compared to any other decent steel 20 rounder.
what sticks out to me is the burst packs. Dang they're so sexy. Maybe it's the flash but all that red gets me excited. I'm still all SEF housings. It's the cost of semi packs for all the hosts that hold me back! |
