Looking for a USC to do the UMP conversion on. I guess these are discontinued? I have been wanting one for along time. What should I pay for one? Thanks

They are discontinued (as I understand), the last ones I have seen on GB are selling in the $1350 - $1500 range, that was a few months ago. I thought about buying one at the time and decided to go a different way.

ETA: Just glanced on GB, looks like the $1350 ship has sailed, the couple there are $$$.

There's one for $1575 on the EE right now.

You're looking at $1500+ for a USC.

I grabbed one a month and a half ago for $1350 and I think I got a good deal because it was gray and sponge painted. I was going to pass it up but something told me to grab it. Glad I did.

I've been following some on gunbroker for several months. NIB examples regularly get bid up to $2000, some a little higher. Used grey examples seem to sell around $1500 - $1700.

the market was flooded with them a couple years ago, $1k new I think? they are not that great in the scheme of things, esp. as stock.
