Here is my history, bout 10yrs ago my kid loved the fal from call of duty, so to make him happy I traded my ptr91 for it. What impresssd me was the hebrew markings on it, and you can tell this rifle was definitely a battle rifle, but the draw back was its big and heavy. So it's pretty much been in the safe unless friends/family came by and out came show and tell??.  Well since then, I've pick up at ruger percision rifle, m1a and a scar17. To many 308 so It's being relocated to another happy family. So now I come to you guys and girls, I have no idea about value. I've been looking all week for a price and I've narrow it to 1500 and up. It's a Israeli Heavy Barrel Imbel l1a1. the old dust cover has been replace with one a rail (can get a original one for 20$ online) but beside that, it's all original as when I got it. Let's see if I can get these pics downloaded and can then get a value from y'all. Thanks in advance.
Let's see if I downloaded the pictures right, lol

$1500+ would be a fair price.

Izzy heavy barrels kits are hard to come by now and with normal FAL kits going for $500-700. The HB kits demand a premium. I sold a HB kit years ago for $1000, that was when FAL parts were cheap.  Then add the receiver and US made parts and you are easily to the 1500 mark.

Concur, but the battlefield pickup look for me would make the best price $1500.
