I have never owned one, but I might after I watch this on Netflix this weekend.
"The siege of jadotville" I have never heard of this battle, sounds interesting.

I watched the movie and enjoyed seeing all the FAL's.  I did not see many FAL shooters aim and make hits though.  Most of individual hits seemed to come from the scoped rifle shooter.  That was a little disappointing since I make hits on man sized steel with my kit gun out to 400 yds.

I was about 20 years too young to participate in Viet Nam or soldier of fortune stuff.  I only remember the tail end of 'Nam on the news and vaguely heard of Soldier of Fortune stuff as a kid.  It seemed like the US mostly stayed out of African affairs and it was hard to understand what was going on as a kid.  I guess the movie added a little to my historical knowledge.
