I bought a DSA SA 58 FAL for my son that has a DSA scope mount on it. For those of you with a similar set-up, what height of rings do you use for mounting a scope. The scope has a 1inch tube and 40mm Objective.

Thanks!

The Warne medium rings will work with no modification of the DSA scope mount.  I have the Warne low rings on a rifle.  I had to modify the DSA mount by machining down three of the lugs so the scope would clear.

Go with the medium height rings unless you want to modify your scope mount.

A continuous top rail handguard and 40mm scope would need high rings. A standard plastic handguard may be OK lower?
