Lots of people struggle with those.

I always remember that it opens towards the larger value and closes towards the smaller no matter what order they are in - a grade school teacher told us that very early on and it always stuck with me for some reason.

i ordered a bunch of these.
the dents are mostly on the feed lips.
i wish i had saved my $ and bought better quality mags.
kind of silly to have a battle rifle and cheap out on the most important piece of hardware on it, the mags.
magazine failures are what cause most rifles to go down

the dents are on the portion that are towards the chamber, so they probably can be straightened out to working condition

I bought 4 and have to say I am impressed. 1 looked as new blued and not reparked. The other 3 looked like reparks and 1 of which had the baseplate installed upside down but an easy fix. Totally satisfied for the money!
