I have seen several heavy barrel fals for sale , some listed as match rifles.
are these heavy barreled / match guns to be avoided? I seem to remember reading they jam routinely, or is that the full auto guns?
thanks

Any FAL built correctly with quality parts typically has AK reliability.

FALs are not match-grade accurate rifles, either. If you are going to carry it in the woods, then go for a light-barrel model.

The "bang-bang-jam" problem was with the Israeli full-auto rifles, so don't worry about it. Worry more about the quality of the parts and who built the gun.
