From the ammo fairy I acquired some .30-06 cartridges. Some black tipped AP head stamped SL 4 (just a 4), 43 TW, some red tipped tracers head stamped SL 43 and U 43, some orange tipped tracers head stamped FA 52 and WCC 52, and some FA 60 MATCH ball rounds.

None of these are corrosive or collectible right?

The 1943 stuff is most likely corrosive.  The 1952 and newer is most likely not.

look here

As to the tracer... expect to start a fire at the impact area!  REALLY!!!!!

I would save the black tip not just shoot it up for plinking ammo.

I believe it is all corrosive, but so what clean the gun properly after no worries. Many m1 rifles spent years shooting nothing but corrosive and held up just fine

Thanks for all the responses.  Corrosive doesn't scare me as I just clean the guns after range sessions.

SL 4 = 1944 = corrosive
