ok, so i got my project stock in! It's a USGI fiberglass stock, in really great condition (Thanks to the folks at Freds!). I plan on keeping my original wood furniture, because it looks classy, but I want to use this fiberglass stock as more of an SDM rifle project platform.

Improvements I'm looking at making:
1. Paint. (check)
2. Bipod mount. (check)
3. Optic mount. (check)
4. QD attachment points (more to follow on this one....)
5. Potential glass bedding.... jury is still out on this one.

Before I get started on this modification adventure, I need a pretty important piece of hardware: A stock liner, w/ screws. Looking at treeline, I've found some but they say "Not for use in synthetic stocks," which leads me to my questions:
Where can I get a stock liner that will work with the USGI fiberglass stock?
What makes this stock liner not work? Is it something I can just file down?

looking at this stock.... it doesn't have the holes for the liner screws........
