I posted this in the Precision Rifle forum and got no traction so I thought I'd see if anyone here could jump in.


I have an M1A loaded on which I've installed a Sadlak scope mount.  I have purchased a Bushnell ERS 3.5-21 scope and I'm looking for a set of rings to complete the package.  I've been looking at different options and I'm interested in getting a one-piece, QD-style mount, like those available from LaRue.  I'm a bit out of my element when it comes to longer-range and optics, etc.  Can anyone recommend a good set of rings/mount for my setup?  And does anyone know what the minimum scope height required in order to clear the rear sight?
