It's stamped 7-43, and its a paratrooper. Any help would be thankful.

Exceedingly difficult to track a U.S. miliary firearm beyond its date of manufacture or possibly the theater is was used in by ancillary records. When this happens, it's usually because the soldier who used the firearm provided the provenance or at least gave information about the firearm he used anecdotally.

There's a great story here somewhere of a guy who was able to locate and purchase his USMC dad's actual WWII-issued M1 Garand. There were also some Garands purchased from a Guam police station that were documented as having been used in the Guam campaign. But attaching a specific firearm to a battle, let alone a specific soldier is exceedingly rare and usually connects in random, unlikely ways.

If it was purchased through the CMP or DCM you can pay a fee to find out when and for how much but that is about it.

Charge is $25.00 per serial number, prepaid, whether they find anything or not.

If interested, send letter to CMP, ATTN: Serial Number Research, 1401 Commerce Blvd., Anniston, AL 36207.

Is it an inland?  Got any pics to share?  Does it have a flip sight (rear)?

Untouched WWII paratroopers are rare.

Uh? That's interesting. It is a Inland but it has a bayo lug. Well it's a pretty cool gun so no loss.

Are you sure its even a USGI paratrooper stock or commercial repop?

I think it's original, it's the wire stock with what looks like a cast iron butt. I'll try to get some pics up of it.

Alright so there is a few photos, it's my dads carbine just trying to see what I can for him. I wanted to buy it but I didn't want to have to sell a gun to buy a gun. Did that once and still kick myself for it.

From what little pics you supplied I would say the stock is fake. Need to take clear close up pics of both sides of rivets and take a pic of the inside of buttplate. Should be stampings there

Knew you guys would say that. Dad took the pics. I'll get some better ones.

If the manufacture marks the part somewhere as a replica then yes, otherwise to me they are trying to deceive the unsuspecting buyer and are fakes
