Think this is the first SBS S12. When filing my F1 they didn’t have the model in the system so it took a while to get approved. 11” barrel is perfect if anyone else is considering this.

So far reliable with high brass shells and standard low recoil 00 buck.

Bird shot is not reliable. Will get another gas plug and have it milled down.

Updated pics of my Saiga 12 in its final form

12" Barrel cut by yours truly. Also did the conversion many years ago. Given a thorough working over by Anthony Hitch at Evlutionz. With the 10-rounder shown it cycles anything. Dynamite guy, that Anthony. Haven't tried my MD Arms drum. To be honest, I don't really like shooting with it. I like stick mags better.

Magpul Zhukov fixed stock with a Limbsaver on the end. I can shoot this sucker wearing nothing but a grin and a T-shirt.

Just added the Arsenal forearm retainer (that thing is built much better than the pictures online show) which holds an old Tapco forearm I had in my parts box. I think it looks perfect on this. It matches the goofy SAW pistol grip just by coincidence.

RAM front sight. I'm gonna leave the rear sight stock even though the kit includes a big huge rear sight.

CSS adjustable gas plug. Filled the numbers in with a white crayon, I ain't fancy.

Special thanks again to Anthony at Evlutionz. Could not be happier!

I hear that this is the key to any lock.

The mount is custom from Armed to the Teeth Technologies (AT4).

This thing is heavy though. And I'm actually finding that the shorter magazines feel a little bit more comfortable to hold. Either way, the only real way to shoot the shotgun portion is from the hip.

Always wanted to do wood stocked gun but got a deal on a gray cerakoted SBS so putting it in some magpul makes sense. Might try to find a gray laminate at a later date but MLOK is kind of practical so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Modified the handstop a bit. From Magpul they don't sit all the way to the rear and the rear portion is needlessly large and tooth shaped. Trimmed it down a bit in some areas. It still works great and is far less obnoxious imo.

Keep it simple, stupid (KISS)

Just need to decide how I want to mount a light and front/rear sling points.

Base: Remington 870 TAC-14
Barrel: 14.5" Police trade in, with rifle sights
Furniture: Hogue overmold, 12" LOP stock
Saddle: Tacstar 6 shell

Finally got my stamp (police factory SBS) and somehow had a 10" barrel lying around thanks to someone here.  I haven't shot it yet but it's already almost my favorite gun just from how cute and handy it is.  Originally I was planning to replace with a conventional stock to keep it really slick, but the pistol grip might even be growing on me.  It's within 1/2"of taking the 4th shell in the tube.  I might investigate a tiny spacer to get that 4th round if that little extra length would mean a big increase in capacity.  Need to get it set up for ghost loading, all my other M1S90 are ancient so I kind of forgot that Benelli marked ones don't allow that without a mod.  Anyways, super pumped.

First side by side SBS just finished.

I wound up with this free jw2000 and for that price the best thing to do with it was cut it up.

8 inches off the muzzle and 6 inches off the stock.

I then cut this 1/4 inch brass plate on a bandsaw to make a buttplate and reinstalled the bead.

Another 11:

Front sight looks funny because it is a machine screw, while I patiently wait for MGW to ship my replacement beads.

My 10" Saiga 12. Shortened gas system, fire control group improved, modified Saiga rifle handguard, threaded barrel, HK sights, AK-100 folding mechanism.
A really fine running SBS. She was completed more than 10 years ago and she has some wear and tear on her.
