I’d imagine he’s just super busy. He’s blown up because of the quality of his work. He’s also active over on form1suppressor.boards.net.

@Sixtysixdeuce I had a real quick question I wanted to know if you could answer. I'm in the process of clipping some 60* cones for a 30 cal can and wanted to know if you could share your clip dimensions (ie. width and trough depth). Kinda been tossing around approximated numbers on the form 1 board, but wanted to see what you were clipping since you seem to get really good feedback on your cans and cores.
Right now the numbers in my head are 0.20" width by 0.30" depth (into the proxmial face). It looks alright on paper, but I have only really seen dimensions on the DHC and this would be about twice that depth. |

That's closer to what I use in my .375" cal Accipiter model with it's 50° baffles (.220" W x .250"-.280" D). |

View Quote That sucks. First little string of 17-4 I grabbed to pull off and it just sliced into the skin and meat. Lesson learned the hard way. Healed up quick as it was a clean cut. Now nothing but pliers to move the strings. |

Nick & Jerrica just repaired a Form 1 endcap for me after my dumb ass drilled it off-center. ECCO was able to save it by slightly enlarging the hole diameter to make the exit concentric. The work was priced extremely competitively (cheaper than a new endcap blank), turnaround was lightning fast, and they even re-coated the cap before sending it back. Highly satisfied customer!
ETA: Just noticed this was a resurrected zombie thread, but bump anyway because ECCO deserves the credit. |
