They don't have a timeline as to when these hits their distributors. I inquired a week or so ago.

I would buy one in 6.8, I think it would make a dandy utility gun.

I don't need a 300 BLK bolt gun

Update:

A store a couple hours east of here just posted an ad saying they have both "sizes" of the .223 in stock. I wish it were closer.

Played with the 5.56 Ruger American Compact Ranch Rifle yesterday, dark earth stock, sweet, but I want the 300 AAC Blackout.

I just got mine. There's quite a few out there at this point, and I've seen more .300BLKs than .223s. Just depends on what you want to spend and where you want to get it. Mine ended up being a bit more than I wanted to spend, after tax and shipping it was around $420 out the door. I've seen them online for as little as $366 but they're always out of stock.
