Alright alright alright...

Got my CZ Scorpion yesterday as approved from the BATFE! How excitint.

Now poses the question, what are you accessorizing your Scorpion with?

I've noticed the rails are not exactly normal after having tried to mount a couple picatanny items.

Are there accessories out there to convert the rails? What trigger options am I looking at? Better barrels? Preferred optics?

...excited to get this for sure. Looking to see what you got, or are planning to get.

Evo pistol

Almost mandatory:
HBI trigger springs
HBI right side safety delete
Gearhead works paddle mag release
HBI K handguard
Barrel cut to 5.10" by Morgan at Class III Machining. Wish I woulda gone to like 4.90"
Magpul Mlok foregrip
Holosun red dot
Manticore 32rnd mags
Manticore Slider Stock
Chopped the grip myself, obviously

Tirant 9mm will soon be replaced by a 3 lug SG-2

Here is what I did...

Side Project Zhukov stock/adapter set
Yeti Wurks Grip
Streamlight TLR-1 HL
Pictured hand stop (BCM) has been replaced with a Magpul Vertical grip
Holosun H503C Sight
CZ Custom trigger - expensive, but it got me a great trigger and 3 of the needed 6 parts for 922r compliance
Shown with my SilencerCo Octane 45 HD suppressor
I also added two QD sling mounts on the left side.

Must haves to me are:

Factory folder
Red dot
PMM QD sling mount
Suppressor

Anything else is just personal preference.

Couple guys near me (that have opinions I trust) swear by the just released Pathfinder grip for theirs. I don't have a Scorpion, so no first hand experience.

HB Industries has some really nice aftermarket parts for the EVO. My Form 1 should be here any day and still waiting on my Form 4 on the Omega 9K. I've done the trigger spring and polish all the trigger parts which makes a big difference. In addition, the HBI pistol hand-guard (didn't cut barrel), duck bill mag release, Apex Tactical grip, left side safety delete and the HK style safety. No pictures due to it being ugly AF with no folding stock or can

CZ Custom Shop does custom trigger jobs on them but the price is higher than giraffe p&(sy ( around $350)

Any way to get a pic, 90* angle straight down on the end of the rail, no suppressor, to see how the 3 lug mount looks on the 4.5" barrel?
If it's easier I could IM you my cell phone to text a pic
My 5.1" barrel looks good with a direct thread can but I fear when I add a 3 lug mount it will be goofy long

SBR & Factory Stock, $200 tax & $200 stock but so awesome!
Magpul VG
Silencerco Octane 45 on 18mm direct thread mount (long but functional)
Primary Arms advanced micro dot, $170ish, very nice RDS

Only things I still want to add/change
SiCo Omega 9k,
Gearhead works paddle mag release,
Probably a different grip, like the switchback.

Other than these I'm perfectly happy with it!

Got a response from HBI on their handguard. Actual dimensions inside their handguard is 1.61", fitting the SiCo Hybrid (1.57") just fine!

Are they doing product testing, because as far as I can tell the Pakse grip hasn't been released yet...

Yep. Original estimate was a early-Feb release, but I haven't heard anything. Just sent the guy a message to ask.

copy that. Pakse's facebook has a guesstimate for wide release of late-April, IIRC. I don't know if I'll order one, but I am very glad that more options are gonna be available.

Is there a certain model you have to buy to SBR? I'm looking into getting a Scorpion, but I thought I read certain parts need to be changed. Is this correct?

Soon... Already waiting on stamp(s), next one will be to reduce the barrel length of the EVO, They look great, mine is the 16" Carbine with a break for now. Vortex SparkAR. Great little gun as is, can only get better smaller and quieter.....

nope, you can SBR the pistol or the rifle. Which would be easiest/cheapest depends on whether you want to run the factory stock and what bbl length you want...among other things.
