I'm debating whether or not to get a genu-wine Daniel Defense handguard for this or not. It looks pretty good with the Noveske.

Agree. I wouldn't put my money towards the rail unless you're going for a clone with other pieces.

Nice looking SBR as it is.

Agreed. Heavy as shit in relation to modern mandguard, the KMR in particular.

That's kind of my thought. The entire upper is DD parts, I just kinda got to the handguard and said "fuck it, I have an NSR laying around" and sort of went on a tangent after that

I have a 9" Omega X rail on the EE right now that would fit great. I actually took it off my 10.3 upper and replaced it with the lite 3 rail. Not quite the ris II rail but would keep it all DD!

Looks good like that. My mk18 clone is pretty heavy, when I grab rifles like yours I always think about changing up my clone.

Yeah, it's superlight.

I took it up into the mountains with me this weekend and it's by far the lightest AR I own.

Agree on the mk18 rail. I have a 16" rifle with the KMR and MRO sight that is actually lighter than my mk18 build with the EOTech on it.

I would make the iron sights a little more iron. Daniel Defense 1.5s with the red dot 1/3 co-witnessed.
