I was able to pick up a new factory threaded TD charger barrel on ebay for $95 shipped. Looking on there now I don't see any available, but you can keep an eye out on there or the EE if you don't mind waiting. If you don't want to wait, then I would suggest sending it out to be cut down and threaded. Morgan in Tx did my original TD 16" barrel thread job for $65. He does good work and is probably the cheapest. Jim from JP grips in Michigan also does good work, but he is a little more. Never had anything done by ADCO but from others on here they do an awesome job too.

Also interested in the same. Waiting for a stamp for my takedown model. Have not been able to find a charger barrel.

I think it is Thompson Machine that makes a integrally suppressed barrel for a charger and tactical solutions started doing charger barrels but have no idea if they do any TD charger barrels

Maybe a dumb question, but will the charger barrel work on a 10/22 takedown, I have heard it will not?

Beyer Barrels makes replacement lightweight barrels for the takedown as well as standard 10/22.
Hhhmmm? Just checked his website and they're not shown there. Might shoot him an email to see what he has. I've seen him with takedown barrels at the local gun shows... |
