I plan to run a 13.7" middy Kino
I think faxon makes a 12.5" middy. They're much more common when running a suppressor.

doesnt look like they make those anymore, dont see it listed on any of the 556 barrels. i was planning on getting either a noveske 13.7 or a faxon 14.5 or 16 and cutting it down so i can get the gas port where i want it. i have a local guy that does a good job cutting and threading for cheap.

not sure if was going to make it a deticated suppressed or not though.

how about with the can removed? that's were i'm heading.

although, i talked with a guy at noveske, he said their 13.7 barrels are designed to run 223 pressure ammo without issues. i'd rather have a small gas port and not be over gassed with 556 pressure ammo for this particular upper.

might looking at cutting a 16" middy back. thanks for all the input.

Love mine, never had any issues running either suppressed or unsurpressed, using an H2 buffer as well.
