Would like to read of how it went for anyone who did it. I have a uplander stoeger that I never use. I think it would be a good shotgun to cut down. I have never fired one though and not sure if it is a really good idea, or if I would just be ruining a shotgun.

I am waiting on a form 1 for a stoeger coach gun.  Should be around a month or so now.  I bought a new 12g coach gun to do it to, but thought the gun looked too good the cut up.  So I found a used 20g that I am going to do it to.

I plan on 11" barrels and will cut the stock down to look like a bird head grip.  I think I will like the 20g better than the 12g due to kick.

You'll get answers is either the SBR or Shotgun forums in the Armory section.  There is a SBS/AOW thread in the Shotgun forum, I got a lot of my questions answered by reaching out to the posters that had photos of the SBS I was trying to build.

Did a Remington 11. Have a Browning BSS in the works (waiting on F1) and it will be 13" barrels.
