Wanting a quality Lower to have Form 1 SBR'd to use with every future SBR upper I'd like to buy like 300 Blackout.
With the tax stamp being $200, engraving, and the long wait, I'm willing to pay a bit more for a quality kickass lower. Just wondering what you guys already like and have done for yours. |

Rifle Gear Lower, and an Arfcom Billet lower.
The Rifle Gear lower is supposedly a Mega lower, but had more blemishes then most blem market lowers do... Looking back, I dont feel that my $200 tax was better spent on one vs the other. |
Three Andersons, a PSA, and a Del-Ton.
All of them run just fine |
Umbrella Corp on mine but most lowers are basically the same. If you want a "cool" one then pick a rollmark you like and go with it.
I've got an Aero Precision and KAC. Pick something you like and go for it.
What ever roll mark you want.
I did a high standard and a stag. Any big name manufacturer will be in spec most of the time. |
Two Spikes lowers so far. I think the next one will be an Anderson in .22.
Mega forged and Mega billet is in process right now, the next one I'm eyeing is the 2A balios light weight.
Precisionfirearms smaller company but there lower uppers are great!
Spikes Warthog for my first and just sent out a 2A yesterday.. I would consider 2A, the Warthog was a stupid idea haha
That ADM is pretty sweet though |
LMT
Mega Nodak is engraved needing a stamp. Noveske chainsaw on deck |
I'm using the Mega lowers with the "Gator" grip only for the SBR's.
Simply to easily recognize what is SBR legal in the safe as opposed to the others. i.e. if it doesn't have a gator grip on the magwell, I won't put a short upper on it. |
YHM and RRA.
Use PSAs and Andersons... It'll save money for when you Form 1 more of them. |
LMT and Noveske Gen2.
Will be doing one of my Noveske Gen1s and a Quentin Defense soon. Who knows what else I'll come up with. |
$35 Anderson with the built-in trigger guard from Aim Surplus.
I went gen 2 Rainier billet. The damn Gen 3 released 4 days after I picked mine up lol

I could see why some go with inexpensive lowers because most all lowers are gtg (functionally speaking).
I am more of the mindset that this is something I will own for life and pass on to the kids, so why not go with something nice(r)? I have an AXTS A-DAC-F sbr'd lower. Probably the "best" forged lower I've owned yet. The machining is impeccable, the markings are cool and it has added functionality. |

Just one pending stamp (any day...?!)
Armalite SPR MOD1 Would like to do the Spikes Crusader next... |
As of today none.
Hopefully stamp is approved next week for my Battle Born. Next will be either an Aero or Tactical Machining |
