Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 300 BLK SBR build - semi or auto bolt carrier?

I'm waiting on a Silencerco Omega and already have an SBR in 5.56.

Building a 10.5" 300 BLK upper as a host for the Omega.  My question is this - semi or auto bolt carrier for the build?  I always use semi and see no reason to use a heavier bolt carrier in a semiauto rifle - unless there's a good reason for it.

Mine has a F/A BCG simply because that was what I bought at the time.  But I also use a Spikes T2 buffer instead of an H2.
