How do you guys get updates on your filings? Checks cashed on 1 form 1 SBR and 2 form 4 suppressors 7/23/16 View Quote You don't really, until your either get back an approved form or a correction letter or disapproval. You can try calling the ATF for updates, but they will likely be less than forthcoming with any details. |

I mailed in mine. I've been calling them to check. Is there a way to check it online instead?

E-filed on 06-25-16, got the approval email today. Only 248 days!
They did not batch approve the other form 1 I am waiting on though. Hang in there fellas. |

Looking at these dates I am so glad I built this last one as a pistol to keep me happy in the interim. If I see a stamp by 2018 I'll be surprised.

I am very interested to see how much the wait time changes once they get through the pre-41F pile. It may get down to a short wait compared to what we are used to.
Come on, HPA! |

At the current rate we could potentially see the efile queue emptied out in 4-6 weeks. Ha, April Fools is next month. No, I'm serious. 6/25 is only 2.5 weeks from the 7/13 cutoff date. Then consider that eforms was down several days before that cutoff. We really have just 2 weeks worth of eforms left in the system. |

View Quote While we do have people reporting 6/25 submissions being returned, I still have a 6/23 efile submission still in process, and I know a friend who is still waiting on a 6/19 efile submission. So there's a good bit of range to this log jam, and with all the last minute ones sent the last week or so before 41f, I'm not even gonna try to speculate how much longer it'll take to clear the pre 41f forms, efile or otherwise. |

6/25 just came back with draft. Of course it would happen on a Wednesday so the site is down
Anyone have the experts email so I can ask them to fix it? ETA: Disregard, have Mr Schaible's. ETA2: 41 minutes from email for fix to corrected copy received. Good job ATF. |

View Quote No expert here, but I'm guessing with the (in)efficiency of the system this won't happen. If ALL were done in order, myself and others here waiting way before the 6/25 date would have theirs now. I'm guessing their is a bunch of them out there. I'm guessing they don't always stay in order essentially |

I did feel bad for him though. |

You have to be right. Guy on previous page has a 7/23 paper Form 1 approved. Gave me hope for my 7/12 paper Form 1s... but they must not go in order. View Quote Best I can figure, they get distributed to the various examiners in some semblance of order, but from there you're at the mercy of the processing speed of the examiner that gets your form added to their stack. Some work faster than others. |

I've got two left from July 4th, like someone said above it's only a couple weeks left of eforms so it can't be but so far off.

I hate looking at this thread because I check it for glimmers of hope but I can't see them. But it's like the proverbial train wreck, you can't help but look.

View Quote My comment was only about efile. I guess that is correct that quite a bit of forms where filed in that last 2 weeks, so maybe it will be 8-10 weeks. Either way there is still 2 weeks of efiled forms left in the queue, so the end is in sight. |
