10" Noveske .300 Blk with 10" Midwest Industries Gen 2 SS rail, Yhm Ti 308 QD. Dunno how this worked so perfectly, but it did!! QD flashider was mounted with no shims either.

It looks like a 10.5" barrel with a 10" rail shouldn't have any clearance issues. Thanks guys!

This is a 10.3 inch barrel with a 9.5 inch Geissele rail.
Barrel threads on an AR are over .6 inches. So if you had half an inch more rail, and 2/10ths more barrel you won't overlap the muzzle with your flash hider/comp. You will have to install the comp before the hand guard is on as the wrench flats will likely be somewhat occluded. |
