Who all makes these? Looking at getting a 10.5 inch upper with a fixed front site soon, and trying to determine who all makes them. Spikes did in the past, but I posted in their industry forum and they no longer offer the 10.5. I see PSA has one (though its out of stock at the moment) but I'm not a real big PSA fan. LMT also has one, but it is a pretty big chunk of change for a basic upper like what I'm looking for. Any other suggestions?

AndroCorp. I've run 600 flawless rounds through mine so far. Barrel is ballistic advantage with a AO Precision upper. Can't beat the price and buyers seemed to be pleased.

The LMT upper is great. They've been making the 10.5 for a long time and know what they're doing.

I've had one for a few years. Took it out when I first got it to test function. Ran 300 rounds of nasty,under powered, no named lacquer coated 223 flawlessly and locked bolt back on empty mags. I was happy.

adco has a basic cqb upper, 10.3" though. daniel defense barrel and fsb. i have one its awesome comes to a tad over 400 shipped!!!

Not a FSB upper but you may want to check out masdefense.com

I have had excellent luck with their uppers and their customer service is incredible.

That is the barrel I'm using on my build. The QPQ finish is very nice and the upper assembled with no problems. These were recently on sale so I got little better deal. I would buy another with no hesitation.

I love my Noveske 10.5 basic, runs like a top with my Specwar and H2 buffer. I paid a bit more for mine.

If you dont mind sharing, whats your problem with the PSA 10.5" upper? Mine is plenty accurate and has over 750 rounds mostly steel cased with zero malfunctions

LMT makes great 10.5s. They were the first to offer a reliable 10.5 to the commercial market. I have one of their very early 10.5" uppers that I bought from MSTN, back when Wes was the only source for LMT gear. It has seen around 5k of mainly suppressed fullauto fire and it never skips a beat if kept well lubed.

Another option is to buy a Colt 6920 upper and have it cut down and the gas port opened.

That's not a Noveske upper. The ad states it has an ER Shaw barrel.

I'm not the OP, but it is never in stock! I would not hesitate to buy this upper at all.

Just a word about the Aero barrel with fsb, mine is F marked but it's not F marked height. I ordered a .040" taller fsp so no biggie I guess.

I don't have a problem with the 10.5 inch upper, its PSA I'm not real big on. I had some issues with a past order and my attempts to work it out with their customer service ended with me deciding to support other vendors. Being only a few hours from Primary Arms, they are my normal go to shop for internet ordering. Maybe primary arms has spoiled me, but I found PSA's customer service (or lack of) to be a turn off. I'm glad your upper runs good, and honestly wouldn't mind running the same one. I just don't wanna risk having to deal with them if something was wrong with it on arrival.

To be honest it was going to be a 30 dollar place holder until I got a KAC and made a Block 1 clone.

I liked it too much and decided to leave it alone.
