and it was freaking awesome! super easy. almost too easy. and a HUGE thanks to bigwaylon for the visual walkthrough guide, great help.
i used my pc at work and didn't have one issue. i'm running windows 7 with google chrome here and it went through with absolutely no hiccups. i got one of those gearhog nfa trusts when they were on sale so i'm anxiously awaiting this to come back while my form 4 individual (spectre II) is still pending from freakin august. 
the sbr will be an aero precision 10.5" sitting on a an aero "pew" lower. for those still on the fence about getting a trust/using eforms, do it!! like i said, it was super simple and the time frame alone makes it worth it.

I pretty much did everything the same as you did op. It was also convienent for me to getting the trust noterized as a co-worker of mine is a notery.
I e-filed on 1/22/15 and can't wait. |

Just submitted my first one today 25 Jan 15. Super easy. I logged on just to fill out all the info and save it, come back in a few weeks and sign and submit and pay. Once i got to the screen I just couldn't help my self and went ahead and finished it off and paid. I should be getting this approval around the same time as my Form 4 AAC 7.62SD.

looks like EFORM 1 trusts are taking between 30-35 days now. My request was finalized on 1/20 after a 12/18 submission. Not bad with the holiday break. If only my suppressor could follow the same path. Looks like my 1/3 purchase wont be in my hands until after June. SO SAD! |

Silly question but after your form 1 is approved do you get a hard copy in the mail with your actual stamp or is the emailed PDF copy all the ATF sends you?

However, my approved form still has "Draft" on it, so I'm in the process of trying to get that corrected. |

the draft thing sucks, but is somewhat easy to remedy. don't you just end up emailing ted clutter or using ask the experts? either way, congrats! |

Yep. They send you an email PDF of your approved form 1 with digital stamp. I keep a PDF on my iPad, my phone, and my laptop. Plus, I print out copies to keep with my trust documents. I'm up to 8 efile form 1's approved with a couple more in the pipe. Heck, given enough time and money I'd efile all my AR's and other things. Just for fun, here's a couple of my SBR's:

I got email this morning. .... DISAPPROVED
I messed up and in Applicant Name put my name instead of my Trust. In the Disapproved Form notes its indicated that they submitted request for refund and I need to apply again with correct info this time. eFiled another Form 1 today.

It was almost too easyI am sure I screwed something up it goes so fast. Another thanks to bigwaylon. Great tutorial. I did have to use my wife's Mac Book Air, I am still running OS10.6 on my Pro a while I got logged in last night I couldn't tonight. I have Mountain Lion coming so it will not be a problem in the future. Doing a 8" 300 BLK and a 12.5" 308 Aero Precision receivers. |

I'm building a 8.5 in 300 blackout , here is my upper spec list so far . Bison Armory 8.5 in 300blk barrel SilencerCo Saker Trifecta Muzzle Brake V7 Extreme Environment Gas Tube V7 Titanium Gas Block Stag Left Hand BCG ....not sure if I'm going with the nickel teflon or going with the basic and sending it out to get titanium nitrided CMT UPUR-1LH Left Hand Upper if they ever come back in stock SSS Gas Vent to replace the forward assist Charging Handle undecided suggestions welcome 7in Keymod Rail not sure which one I'm hoping BCM releases a KMR7, suggestions welcome Vortex SPARC w/ a LaRue LT751 Mount . |
