The engraving should be at least .003 deep and no shorter than 1/16th of an inch tall.  Is that how you understand it?
thanks

There is no height requirement for NFA engraving. The height requirement is for the SN only.

I've had mine done all kinds of different sizes from different places. As mentioned, there's no minimum height, but it's kinda hard to engrave it less than 1/16" and have it readable.

Local jewellery shop could not do the engraving.  They said they could to it but the depth was a problem.
I am going to try a trophy shop and see what they say.

I am reading several threads here and their are a lot of trusts.
I did not do a trust.  Should I have?  The guy that talked me into the sbr said not to.  I am wondering if I screwed up here?

No CLEO signoff required...

No fingerprints to run...

Fun for all trustees...

I could go on, but you get the idea...

There's no problem going the individual route. Using a trust is just another way people go about
getting NFA stuff.
