Just wondering if there would be a major difference in the stabilization of heavier (200gr+) projectiles using a 1/8" twist vs the 1/10" twist?  My main reason of concern would be the possibility of a baffle strike in my suppressor.  Any thoughts?

AAC designed the platform, that being said they use a 1:7 twist so does novekse. Rainier, Odin, and cmmg are using 1:8. where are you finding a 1:10 twist? personally i would be concerned with baffle strikes..

1:10 would be a supersonic only gun.  I think 1:8 is good for up to 220gr and 1:7 for >220gr.

JD Jones and a couple others designed it 20+ years ago, AAC just made it sami and brought it to the market unlike JD that never would have.
1:7 and 1:8 has been the standard twist for over 20 years with the 300 whisper/blackout/300-221/wtf is it.
1:10 twist will work but with bullet weights under 200 grns or shorter in length.

CMMG switched to 1:7 a while ago.  I have one of their 8" 1:7 barrels.
