You can buy the training CD pretty reasonably. It is pretty useful in learning to use a mil-dot. A couple of friends use it like a video game.

I would order it, but I would rather Download it... having to wait for a CD to come in the mail just seems so, so 90's....

pretty fun. 83 :) First real time I have played with mil dots. I can see how that would be helpful instead of learning on the fly at the range.

stewart wilson owns and runs the site. former navy IIRC... he's a hell of a guy and developed that program with some aid IIRC...

i hold him in high regard. he's a very bright and well seasoned man of the industry on all levels...

his CD is worth the money IMO... i give it out as Christmas gifts to my friends and family... good times...

Can anyone range worth a damn on that simulator, I'm usually off, and its hard to read that flag between 1/4 and 1/2 values.

Ive yet to get anything over a 60 out of 90

We should get a points tally going here, see who's the top gun internet sniper... my best so far is 61

This thing is a bit addictive, the math starts to get to you after a while.

My best is a 63. Trying to read the wind was the hard part.

45 on my first try...

It's hard to estimate the difference in drop and drift between calibers without any sort of chart to go by. Also would've been nice if there were tutorial on mildot included in the free version ;)

90 is not the high score I just got a 72 but on the last round I scored 17 you are timed I guess and I got a red hit then on the second shot a white hit.

Also check your conditions often, your tables are for 500 ft. elevation, but one of those shots is at nearly 5,000'

I wind up wingign alot of the calculations and dont much know what I'm doing...

At 20x Mag. do you devide your mils read by 2?

Im still wondering how the hell im saposed to tell the diff. between a 1/2 and 1/4 value wind reading with somewhat crappy graphics....

Best so far is 62.

You can double up on the last round, so I'm guessing its out of 100?

I punched in the bullet data to one of the cal's listed. The range table on the Sim seems off to me.

pretty cool, but i hate the mildot reticle in combination with moa clicks.
i use 0.1 mrad clicks, much easier.

get a moa reticle and moa clicks, or mils and mrad, not a combination of either.
