I just picked up a S&W model 19-5 with a 4" barrel and would like to get it nickeled, hopefully in time for Christmas.  S&W quoted me a minimum of 3 months turnaround.  Is there anyone out there who can do it in 2 months or less?

If I can't get it back before then, I'll just give it next year for Fathers Day.  Thanks for any leads.

You might check with Fords in FL or Ron's Gun Shop in Oshkosh, WI.

Here's some top shops that offer bright nickel plating.
These will do a expert job with none of the usual rounding off of edges, dishing out of holes, or waves or ripples in the flats.

There may be questions about Ford's.  Recently some bluing work has come from them that is reportedly substandard.
Whether this is an anomaly or not is unknown and it was bluing not bright nickel work.
