What are your thoughts on stocking up on cheap 20 rd mags? I have some 30 rd in the cart but thinking about throwing in some 20 for $11 ea.

Thoughts?

Sure, nice to have a few handy. A 20 in the gun makes it more concealable

I have the twenty rounders that came with mine when new.  Not exactly sure where they are but I have them.  I haven't used them since purchasing a few thirty round mags.

If you mainly range shoot, and you carry say 3 mags on your belt you've got 60 rounds ready vs the 90 you could have had... not really much point to the 20s other than situations where 30s might be too long such as concealed or transport.

I prefer the 20 rounders on my belt.. Same for the AR..

Also with the shorter 20 rounders the gun can be carried loaded inside a small backpack

This is what I've discovered and also why I have a 20 rounder stoked with 147gr HSTs.

I prefer the 20s as well. This is one of the few platforms where 20s are cheaper than 30s.

And quite a bit cheaper. I'm new to the scorpion so trying to load up on mags.

I got my 20s for $15 a pop, the 30s were around $19.

Who has them for $11?

I personally don't care for the 20 rounders.  I have four between my two MPXs (they came with two 20 rounders each), but I prefer the 30 rounders.  PrepperGunShop.com has the 30 rounders for $18 a piece, so it is worth it to me to get the larger capacity mags even though they cost more.   Preppers also has 20 rounders for a little over $11 a piece if you want them.

Semi related question:

I know the 20rd'ers included with the scorpion are Czech manufactured. And obviously the CZ-USA mags are US made but what's their 922r value? Is it just the floor plate and follower or is the CZ-USA mag's body also US made?
