That is other then the Sub2000 that people are asking a lot for? I have a lot of Glock 22 mags and was looking for a carbine that would allow me to use these mags I did not get on the Sub2000 back when I should have but at the price of $550+ just for a rifle I might as well look at other options that are out there! I know Beretta has the storm or whatever but I do not want to buy more mags for only one weapon trying to cut back as is. I have also seen some of the carbine kits that allow you to change your pistol to a carbine again the cost is the same or it would be cheaper for me to buy the Sub2000 or get a lever action  and some ammo in 357,44 or 45LC

Not Cheaper by a stretch....but definitely a nice option,
QuarterCircle10 small frame lower and an upper I made......runs flawlessly....

Also runs great on a Lone Wolf.........

I just saw one recently called the Just Right Carbine. Looks similar to the AR15 but takes G-22 mags. It sold for $575.00.

I built my 40 SBR on a DDLES frame, works great. Quarter Circle 10 is selling them on Gunbroker.

DDLES is no more.....The new company formed after the original investors reasserted control is Quarter Circle 10.....
Not sure about when they will have a website.....but I'm sure it is in the works...they are concentrating on production now.....and should be running improved large frame lowers in the near future.

I have a Just Right carbine in .45 that takes Glock mags, I like mine and it's very accurate for a PCC. They make a .40 version, and last I looked TNW and Theuron Defense also made AR-type blowback carbines in .40.

40 Cal PCC

TNW ASR
JRC

Both of those come in .40 and use Glock Mags. Both will convert inexpensively between 9mm and 40 cal.
I own one of each and both are 100% GTG.   The JRC is very accurate and trouble free. The ASR is very light and you can just unscrew the barrel nut by hand and put the two pieced in your computer or brief case and take it with you.

Both are FAR less expensive than an AR in .40.....FAR less expensive.

JR Carbine!

Mine is 9mm and I'm kicking myself for not getting the .40!!!!!  But if you get the .40, you'll be good with GLOCK 22 mags all day!

Just get the 40 cal conversion kit and you can change back and forth between calibers.

40 cal. conversion kit

The more I think about this the more tempted I am to just order one up myself!   I could use a 40 cal. in the safe next to my 9's.

I chose the 9mm JRC for the 33 rd mags. There are HC g22 mags available but the capacity is quite a bit less and they are much harder to find.

GT Distributors had some Olympic AR type rifles in 40sw that took Glock mags.

Like the JR and really like the ASR! Just one problem with both of them and that is they are set up for optics. I'm a Marine so love my iron sights and feel that every rifle should have iron sights because what good is the rifle if your optic breaks? Is there any idea on how I could correct this with these rifles?

I'm running back up iron sites on my JR Carbine, but you could also run a detachable carry handle and a detachable front site base on it if you wanted to.

Who does the conversions? I have a PC9 that I'd love to have converted to Glock mags but can't find anyone who does them anymore.

So what is the price on that?
Link Posted: 10/1/2014 9:23:19 AM EDT
[#17]
still negotiating bulk purchase cost on several of the key components to reduce final cost........as well as simplify production,,,like having a mill run of barrel blanks done to allow us to machine the extension as part of the shoulder. For now, I'm having to make an extension for the barrel as the blanks available are of insufficient diameter to machine as an all in one.
If you have parts we can use....shoot me an email to [email protected] and once we figure out exactly the configuration you want I can come closer to quoting a price.

There's one I can think of.

Fab Defense and Endo Tactical both make great stock setups.
