I love the Texan stocks and picked one up today that I'm really happy with.
The ser# starts with AA and after a quick search I think that makes it a 1965 rifle 
375.00 cash with half a box of 30-30 
It looks like they did offer a 20" 336 with a saddle ring and T stock from the factory in 1965 
Bad pick of the markings 
What do you guys think? Fair price and real deal saddle ring Marlin? |

Great price. AA is '65; I have an AB on loan with a new shooter so she can start learning on centerfire rifles. |

Great price and great gun. A buddy had a older one with a dark stock he cleaned it up and it lighten up the stock.
