I have a Winchester Model 94 30-30 (made in '72) that I would like to put a red dot or a 1-4 optic on.

Help me find a mount or a rail for it.

Thanks.

I also found a rail here and thought this would be a good option as well for a 1-4 scope.

Thoughts?

I have two model 94s in .357 magnum.

I installed the XS LeverRail. It required epoxy to mount. I wish I had learned about the Pearson's rail!

I like my Pearsons No-Drill mount.

I have a Turnbull that mounts to the side of the receiver in the two screw holes where something like a williams peep would go.
Was using it with a fastfire 3.
It is a clean setup, and one good thing about it is you can leave your standard sights on the gun so if you ever decide to take the fastfire off you are sighted in and ready to go.

One bad thing about it is the same thing that bothers me about a williams peep, it's right where my hand wraps around the gun to carry it.
For this reason I took it off and will try the turnbull barrel dovetail mount next.

IMHO, a scope on a lever gun takes away from it's greatest benefit, which is the resemblance of carrying a stick.
