Ok so I bought a rio grande in 410 shotgun. I also have an uberti l1873 and that action is as smooth as butter. Does anyone do action work on the Rossi rio grandes, it's gritty and locks up a lot. Just want it smooth and workable. If not I'm just gonna get rid of it

I have on their 92s, but not on a Rio Grande yet. I would guess that you would handle it the same as a Marlin 336/1895 action, but there might be some .410-specific quirks, too.

That's what I was thinking. I'm more of an ar guy so this lever action thing is new to me
