Hey ya'll

Just wondering for those who have done the steve'sgunz modifications to their Rossi 92s or just a spring kit if they then experienced the ejecting brass to strike you on the top of the head? I know why this happens due to the weaker spring not throwing as far, but is this the common theme others are seeing? Thanks!

The Steve's Guns Spring Kits really help this, but Ranch Dog on the Rossi-Rifleman forum advises just clipping the coils on a stock spring to achieve the same result.

I experienced just the opposite. After using Steve's spring all the brass now hits me in the head while maintaining a cheek weld.

Hello It is all adjustable by slowly clipping a coil here or there the brass will tend to have different landing zones. Mine if i wear a hat lands on the brim of my ball cap sometimes, some guys on rossi rifleman wear cowbot hats and they catch their brass in their brim. lol. In most cases mine fall at my feet though. I did the steves tune up. I would not hesitate to use stock spring if trimmed to a usable tension.
