Picked this one up $150.00 at the LGS. Its a little rough, but not too bad. Was a blast to shoot. Need a better pic.

Post up pics of yours.

Nice. Mine has a few nicks too, nothing major, and it shoots nicely. I paid a little more than yours and still felt I got a good deal.

There are only two pawn shops and one LGS that is a close drive for me. Their used guns for the most part are price double what they should be. There is no way that BLR would have been $150 here.

I was quite surprised. This LGS is quite pricey and I could not walk out without it. When I was pricing a CX-4 they wanted at least $150 more than they were selling for at Buds. This was well before Sandy Hook.

I thought I had some pictures, but they must be on the other computer.
Dad has had his for over 20 years and I've had mine for about 4 years.  They're both Grade I and unfired so far.
So much nicer than the Henrys in the safe...

Nice find, these are great shooting rifles, I picked up a grade II about 15 years ago for about $250.  These lever guns are great rifles, they shoot great and girls and kids just love to burn up ammo with it.  Can go wrong especially for $150

OP, you stole that gun.   New ones are in the $550 range right now.

There is one at my local pawn shop.
How can I tell what grade it is?

Mine (grade II) has engraving on the receiver, gold trigger and a very high polish on the wood.

My dad gave me a grade II for my 16th birthday, many, many years ago.  Love that rifle.  For $150 you stole it.

Nice little rifle and not bad price.

I will make you sick to know that I got a pristine Grade II for $200 about 5-6 years ago. I gave it to my dad to use on the pesky squirrels, but I check it over occasionally. BL-22s have a VERY slick action!!
