Place holder for my 336C once it's complete, and I don't want this to fall to the archives.

Williams Ace in the Hole rear sight and scope base
Leupold quirk release rings

On mine?   Williams 5D-94/36  ETA: that model is for rifles that have factory side-tapped holes, which I think I have read are not included on models made after 2001 or somewhere around there.

Here's my Rossi 92 .357/.38. I upgraded it with the Steve's Gunz Action Kit and added custom leather from GunStockCover.com. It is an outstanding shooter in a very useful caliber.

Nice condition on that carbine.  Most of mine are "well-used" or just plain rough shape, if the truth be told.
Could remember looking up the year of mfg on the 64, but couldn't recall the result.  According to this site:

http://www.savage99.com/winchester1894_dates.htm
It was made in 1952
Should probably look up one or two others while it's on my mind...but then I'd just forget anyways.

Just to avoid freeloading, here's my takedown Model 99 .300 Savage:

These aren't mine, but belong to a friend of mine,  He was a neighbor of mine.  He is really into old guns like this, esp old western type guns.  And he has an impressive collection.  He moved out to Colorado a few years ago, but we still keep in touch. Anytime I come across some old gun I am interested in purchasing, I usually call him to get information and his opinion on the price.
These rifles hang in his cabin, along with a whole lot more.  This is a very small portion of his collection

It is a .38/44 Outdoorsman.  Yes, the knife was custom made for my father by Kent Draper.  I like these three together, it is like an Outdoorsman package.

Meh, it is what it is.

64s are getting spendy, the Deer Rifle version (what Winchester called this model's equivalent of a Deluxe in the 71 and other models) even more so.  The scope was a big enough downcheck on pricing to bring it down into my price range.  Also, I've worn glasses since I was a little kid and now I'm staring (nearsightedly) straight into the face of going from bifocals to trifocals, so I'm at the point in my life where a scope is a nice crutch (not quite a necessity, but...very helpful) and lastly, a forward-mounted IER or scout scope works pretty darned well on a lever gun in terms of not messing up its handling and balance.

Continuing with my attempt to avoid freeloading in this thread, here's part of the Model 39 half of my condition impaired Marlin Centennial Matched Pair:

And both of 'em out at the range a few months ago:

The Centennial Matched Pairs were set up in a nice luggage-type display/carry case.  Many of them were stored in the cases, which was unfortunate because the materials used in some portion of the lining or padding promoted rust.  These were all pitted up on the barrels and the levers were especially eaten away with heavy pitting.  So...I have some fancy hunting and plinking guns that actually cost me less than many plain versions of these models.

This is a Winchester 30-30 manufactured in 1981. My brother in law got a round jammed in the chamber and tried to disassemble but ended up letting me take it to look at. I got it apart and cleaned it up, as far as I can tell it's good as new now.  I'm sure the gunk and dirt in it is what caused it to jam. He called this afternoon and told me to keep it for my oldest boy. Pretty nice gun, now that all the gunk is out of it. It's got a patina on the receiver that some people would pay for!

This is my latest project, a mid-late 2000's Marlin 336 Youth model I got pretty cheap at my LGS.  Mechanically fine, but finish and wood left a lot to be desired

I threaded the barrel 9/16-24 on my lathe, made an adaptor for the taper mount I use on my Form 1 .30 suppressor.  I gave the lever, lifter, and bolt a bit of polish with the buffing wheel, and coated all the metal surfaces with Burnt Bronze cerakote.  I put synthetic stocks on (had to mill a new mounting slot in the barrel and mag tube for the longer handguard) installed QD sling sockets in them, stippled, and painted them with "Magpul FDE" Alumahyde II.  Added an XS scout rail and bushnell red dot.   I'm very pleased with it, it contrasts nicely with our older blued & beautiful leverguns

I dont think it counts as a real patina. They had trouble with the bluing on the sintered receivers.
