[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Where to get barrel cut & 3 Lug Installed

Want to get by barrel chopped to 4.5" and a 3 lung installed. Would also like to get the handguard chopped to where only the 3 lug sticks past the handguard. Where is a reputable business to get this done is a fast turn around?

I had mine cut to 4" and re-threaded by ADCO. They did great work, and it was turned around within a week of receiving it. I absolutely love it. I use a TROS USA 1/2x28 3-lug on the end.

I've had work done by Morgan and ADCO, Morgan does better work, better turn around and ships correctly.

Thanks for the info. I think I am just going to get barrel cut and threaded without 3 lug. Seems by the time you add 3 lug and then the mount you have added several inches. Has anyone had any issues with using an octane threaded on their MPX?

No issues. Just check it every so often to make sure it's staying tight. I would suggest rethread if to 1/2x28.

Got barrel sent out to Morgan to be cut. Keeping the threads the same as they are as I already have that adapter for my Octane. Thank for all the info. Can't wait to get it back.
