My rifle was too long, so I spent $200 and waited 6 months to make it shorter. Then it was too loud, so I spent another $200 and waited another 6 months to make it quieter. This made it longer again.

I kinda want one of these guns, lol. They seem like great guns. My buddy gave me his for the weekend to change a few parts on.
However I much rather have a 300 blk with a 9" barrel. My question is if I buy one now, do you believe that I could sell the upper for a reasonable price? Or should I just wait for uppers to become available and install it, along with a parts kit on a AR lower? |

Also this is a good read for other folks on this thread. It may have been posted but I never saw it until today. http://www.realgunreviews.com/sig-mpx-faq-video-analysis/ As for my photo submission, I nutted up and got a red dot, everything still fits nice and snug in its little cubby. |

Last time I checked, the MPX-C with the 9.5" long "muzzle brake" was still considered a suppressor by the BATFE. Why is it that my dealer told me he has one and its a non-NFA item?

Wow. All these beautiful set ups!
Anyone have a folding brace kit or just the folding adapter for sale? I want something to hold me over until my stamp comes back. |

Dsully, I just realized that you seem to have all genuine Sig parts but that would mean your K barrel is threaded 13.5 x 1 LH while the Barking Spider only comes threaded in 1/2x28.
Did you have one of the factory 4.5" barrels cut every-so-slightly and re-threaded to 1/2x28? I ask because I cut my 16" carbine barrel down to 4.5" but had it threaded 1/2x28 and run my Barking Spider 2 on it, however I have a factory 4.5" on the way but it just dawned on me the threads won't match. |

It runs flawlessly suppressed but with my Barking Spider I only get last round hold open about 25% of the time. I sort of expected this since it was originally the 16" barrel but it'd be nice to have a reference before I enlarge it a bit. |

The gas port is auto regulating. There shouldn't be a need to mess with it. I stopped keeping accurate counts of ammo through both my MPXs but I'm guessing 7-8000 rounds through the one. I haven't had an issue at all. |

I confirmed with Sig that the gas blocks are different on the 16" carbine barrels. The port diameter on the gas block itself is smaller than on the factory 8" and 4.5" barrel gas blocks. The gas ports on the barrels, however, are the same (at least the rep believed they were but wasn't 100% certain on that particular point). Thankfully my local machine tool store had a 0.0625" reamer in stock and that seems to have done the job! |
