:( So after 359 days of waiting my form got returned....denied. It's my own fault though I didn't put the model name. I should have looked it over better. I was rushing at the last minute of pre-41f!! Those with approved sbrs what is currently the correct model name for the MPX?

In my experience, any time my form was delayed, usually I was able to fix it by fax, and stamp was approved shortly after (talking a day or so).

I really like the MPX, best rabbit blastin gun available.

Barrel is 6".
Gemtech Multimount threaded on direct thread.
LaRue trigger, Colt safety selector.

The Gemtech Multimount is very underrated. extremely light, easy to take apart and clean, pretty quiet, short, cheap...Probably not as durable as some others I have but so far its a great can.

Just want to say I blame Coregon's pictures for this...

That Form 1 can't come soon enough though.

Still planning to switch to a BCM grip and pickup their gripstop, I have a Holosun HS503GU for testing, just waiting on a Skalarworks mount to replace the 553. Irons...maybe?

EDIT: Not sure why the image is only showing as the address, is that a new member kinda thing?

Rugged Surge 762 in the short configuration. Can't say enough good things about it.

That said, with this 6.75" barrel and the 1:5 twist, I've heard of folks getting baffle strikes with the lower weight supers, so this configuration for me is dedicated to subs only. Been considering getting Rugged's new Rx blast diverter to put on there if I want to shoot supers.

Picture without the handguard, 9" barrel compared to the 6.75" barrel from the picture above.

Nice.

I think im gonna get a 16 300blk barrel and cut to 11.5, same as my 556 barrel.
I also have a 16" 556 barrel incase I want to travel without a permission slip.

If you do, I'd give a shout out to Parker Mountain Machine...they have some experience with cutting MCX barrels and how it affects the gas and piston system. From my understanding cutting the longer 5.56 barrels created some issues, not sure if this was the case with the 300Blk barrels.

I'm actually looking into this myself, as I'm considering attempting a "Mini-Recce" kind of build by cutting the 16" 5.56 barrel to 14.5" and using a Griffin SPR suppressor. I might wait until the Virtus barrels become available though, the heavier profile would interest me more for that purpose.

Well decided to finally cerakote my MCX, so I couldn't decide on a color. I ended up mixing Taurus Stainless with Graphite Black and came up with this color combo.

I like the way it looks different depending on the light.

Now trying to decide what color to do my MPX in.

Awesome color. Any chance we could get a few pics with the stock collapsed and folded. I'm thinking about going a similar route with the stock.

I cut one of my 16" 556 barrels to 11.5" and it had no effect on how the gun runs.
Not sure if the same is true with 300blk or not tho.
