Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - M400 buffer tube, MIL-SPEC or commercial

Like it says in the title. I am looking at putting a B5 SOPMOD stock on my M400. The pictures of the MIL-SPEC and commercial tubes show that my tube is a commercial tube. But, from all the sites I find it is a mix of commercial and MIL-SPEC tubes.

So, who has what? Please post pictures if you changed your stock of both stock and buffer tube.

All Sig Sauer AR variants are mil spec.

Yup, I messed up.

Because of the lighting, the tube looked slanted inside the stock. I took the stock off and found that is indeed flat, threads are also raised.
