I got in a rifle for T&E, and I'll be traveling with it to another state via airplane.

Is there anything special I need to do since this is on my books? Should I travel with my bound book, or is a copy of my FFL with me at all times sufficient?

Any help is appreciated.

You don't have to carry a copy of your FFL or your A&D book with you, or make any notations in your A&D book since the gun's gonna be with you.

That said, some FFL copies couldn't hurt.  Who knows?, you might want to pick up some guns to bring back with you.

You may want to consider keeping a copy on your smart phone (if that's what you use).  We keep a few important docs on our phones just in case...(DL, CHL, FFL, SOT, Bank PO, Tax Cert, Voided Check, POI, etc...)
