The A1 Aug I had years ago had that outstanding Swarovski 1.5X scope. Outside of the A2 Aug, I don't think the newer scopes are made by Swarovski.

I believe you are correct...I have an older Swarovski 1.5optic. It is my understanding that Swarovski no longer makes the new ones.

The tubes in the A3, M1, and SF are Meopta.
The tubes for the new STG77 are not Meopta (the A3+ tubes are not backwards compatible). As they're the circle-dot (donut of death with a very small center dot), I'm betting they're NOS Swarovski. Either way I'm very happy with the Meopta optics, the glass is just as bright and clear as my Swarovski optics. |
