Me too!! "Fall" is pretty vague and I suspect it won't be orderable until 2017. I can wait. Realistically though I won't get my hopes up until it's in my hands. And for all y'all who don't understand the SBR X95 (aka the real X95), cutting that many inches off of an already-short rifle is a lot more noticeable than lopping off some extra barrel on an AR15. I wonder how realistic is the fall release for the SBR version going to be. The more and more I look at the X95, the more I realize how much I don't want it because the X95 Micro (the SBR version) is just so much more badass. I really hope they do release an SBR version in the fall... Me too!! "Fall" is pretty vague and I suspect it won't be orderable until 2017. I can wait. No, its not noticeable especially if I have to register it. Plus, the length of pull is shorter I guess Jews are short because at 6'-2" the tavor I shot was pushing it for me. |

Not so much that they're short, but rather you're too tall... 5' 10" is the average male height. To me, the Tavor feels perfect size wise - taking a few inches off the gun isn't going to ruin it's handling - certainly not for me. |

Any time your proportions exceed the statistical average you are going to inconvenienced when using things designed for people of average proportions. That's all there is to it. |

Also, any idea when non-LEO/MIL can buy? I wanted a Tavor, but now want to wait for the X95.

It looks as if the X-95 might be released before the Desert Tech MDR, if Desert Tech doesn't hurry up.

Anymore info on SBR version release date? Sorry haven't been following this thread.

There is also no guarantee that the MDR will actually ever be released. I am going to attempt to buy one of them and it will be whichever I see first but given the fact that the IWI actually has a track record and the MDR is basically an unknown I am heavily leaning towards the X95. |

Y'all, I well and truly apoligize if this is somewhere else in the thread, and I did look, but the X-95 comes with a factory kit to put on the other trigger guard/grip? If that is the case...I am in. Tx, v/r W

How easy it it to swap from right hand to left hand operation?

I'm just waiting for a dealer to get them in stock and offer it for $1700 shipped. I also want to pay no extra fee to use my credit card so it can ship the same day!!!
The group buy is the best deal for now except I have to mail them a MO and for the time being it is not in stock. They should be available this week. But it is guaranteed. I would just feel better about it if I knew it would ship same day payment is made! |

I was wrong I appologize You SOB, that's the only reason I bought it I called IWI US today to ask about two things, the new grip and trigger guard (I'm not a fan of the Tavor style handguard) and different barrel twists. The rep told me the grip/trigger guard would be available for sale about when the ODG X95 version ships. I have no desire for a 1x7 twist barrel and asked if a 1x8 would be available but sadly he said only 1x7, which sucks because an ODG X95 with that new grip/trigger guard would make my wallet lighter in short order. |

I feel kind of meh about the X95 in non SBR form .... My tavor fits the niche .... Now the SBR version I would be all over
