This is probably as close as I'll ever get to a FAMAS.
Armi Jager AP-85 in 22lr. I think they were imported in the early 90s.
I took it out shooting today, it was a hoot. Two FTEs, but maybe it was the old 22lr ammo, I dunno.

sweet score how much did it set you back?  I've always wanted a nice ap-74 carbine  they are impossible to find though

Dude I think that's bad ass!  Most "military" configured .22's screw it up in one way or another - IMHO.  That there is one of the better looking attempts, I think.

That was the very first firearm I bought for myself when I turned 18. Sold it years later, but miss it. Somewhat unreliable, but fun.
