OK, what's the trick to loading the 25-round Steyr AUG 9mm magazines?  I loaded the first 15 rounds with ease.  The next 5 rounds were very difficult & the remaining 5 rounds were nearly impossible. I used a 9mm Up-Lula; but it was very awkward.  Is there a compatible loader to ease the effort?  Thanks...

Loading these mags is just like loading 9mm AR mags… not fun on the fingers.

You're using the universal lula?

With 9mm AR mags, the Colt maglula is perfect, not sure what I'm going to do about a mag loader - if you find something better let us know!

ETA Pete has a 9mm loader for the mags, but it isn't the cam lula type.

Lightly tap  the bottom of the mag on a solid surface when putting in the difficult rounds.....

Problem resolved.  I got a Steyr 9mm Magazine loader from PJA.  Now I can load a 25 round magazine in under 75 seconds...without sore thumbs!

Another trick that works is to lay one round on a table or other hard flat surface. Then cram the upside down mag onto the round. The table edge can be used to finish seating the round.

I prefer the mag loader.
