It's just color difference but still difference nonetheless.
 What's your preferred color for AUG? Anyone liked one color over another?

Either works. The OD is pretty light in shade and blends pretty good.
Get both. H |

I have black and green. If you live anywhere close to a desert environment get the green otherwise black is fine.
I am surprised they haven't done an FDE colored AUG, it's a hell of a lot more practical than green. In a blazing hot desert climate a black colored rifle becomes less functional due to being too hot to the touch. |

Black is out of style. Olive drab is in these days. It's the new Coyote. It also makes your AUG more accurate. Doesn't do a thing for AR15s though, so don't bother. |

ha, yes I also lived through the 80s, all proper Augs are green. I had been on the fence about buying one, but as soon as I saw green come out, I pounced...

I guess the next time the left decides to pick on evil "assault style rifles", and legal gun owners, ie "domestic terrorists". Legal gun owners can tell them that we went green.

I agree that an Aug should be green (and black and white)
